Fourth Grade Financial Literacy Curriculum

Give a nine-year-old a plan, and watch a saver emerge.

Fourth graders can finally think a few steps ahead — which is exactly why budgeting clicks at this age. Our fourth grade financial literacy curriculum has students build their first real budgets and saving systems, learning the idea that changes everything: every dollar can be given a job.

The Wyzmons™ — a learner for every stage

Fourth Grade sits in the Money Builders band — one step in a single K–12 arc, from a first coin to a first paycheck.

Fourth Grade’s Signature Lesson
Build Your First Budget

Given a pretend monthly allowance, students build their first real budget across needs, wants, and savings.

Designed exclusively for Fourth Grade students — every grade gets its own.
The Scope

What a Fourth Grade student learns.

Fourth Grade sits inside the Money Builders program — 5 units and 50 lessons of story-, play-, and decision-based learning, taught the way great classrooms actually teach.

Every decision a fourth grade student makes feeds the FLIQ Score™ — a behavioral measure of how a child actually decides about money, so growth is provable, not guessed.

The Fourth Grade curriculum is Jump$tart National Standards aligned, follows the HQIM structure districts use to evaluate curriculum, and is FERPA & COPPA compliant. Districts license per school and can pay by purchase order — Title IV-A eligible.

Grade-level design reflects established stages of cognitive development (Piaget) and research on early money-habit formation.
