Welcome to the heart of The Carter & Olay Foundation!

Our flagship program, the Wealth Wise Kids™ Project, is our proudest endeavor, dedicated to creating and sharing captivating children's books that teach vital financial literacy skills.

The program aims to raise funds for the development, illustration, and publishing of most notable children's books that teach essential financial literacy concepts.

These books are designed to be engaging, educational, and culturally relevant, helping children of color build a strong foundation in financial literacy from an early age in preparation for a prosperous future

The Racial Wealth Gap

The racial wealth gap in America is a significant barrier to financial stability and upward mobility for communities of color. Studies show that the median wealth of white households is ten times that of Black households.

This disparity is largely due to systemic inequalities and a lack of financial education, which disproportionately affect communities of color.

Impact on Communities of Color

Financial Insecurity

Black Americans are more likely to experience financial insecurity and poverty, limiting their opportunities for upward mobility

Lack of Financial Literacy

Disparities in financial literacy are significant, with children of color

often not receiving the financial education they need to succeed
